Oh, Baby!

I’ve been busy with so many projects over the past month (I’m explaining my absence, not complaining!), and thought I’d start making it up to you with this pink and gold baby shower from last weekend.

The mama-to-be loves sparkle and shine, and so we did our best to please. All the details for this shower were created with a ‘more is more’ mentality, but on a conservative budget.

Take a look at some of my favorite details from the shower.

Gold sparkle baby shower sign.

600 gold sequins were pinned on to foam core to make this sign. Sore thumbs? Check! Worth it? Check!

Pink Carnations in different vases

Glam can be eclectic! The pink carnations unify this vignette of different containers. (All containers pictured are available for rent too)

The cupcake tower had it's own place of pride under the chandelier of tissue poms. The pink tablecloths were festooned with a scattering of gold sequins.

I got really excited about these mini trophies I found at the Dollar Store. Don't they look great with carnations in them? Currently, I have succulents in them.

So, can you tell the guest of honor is having a girl?! We went pink and glamorous for this shower.
